It’s amazing the speed at which Lucky has settled into our family. Yesterday marked his two-week gotcha day anniversary. Just a couple of weeks ago, this was the home of Lucky (at that time Tuxie) at Austin Pets Alive!
Lucky came home and spent several days in a safe room we set up for him, away from the other cats to give him time to decompress and to get over some sniffles. He quickly made friends with our dogs Irie and Tiki.
After his days in the safe room were done, Lucky’s introduction to our other three cats also went well. Inca was the last holdout in accepting the little guy but for the last several days she has been playing with him…and this morning I saw her grooming Lucky!
Lucky has revealed himself as the most happy-go-lucky cat we’ve ever had. He’s at home ALL across the house, from empty plastic boxes…
…to boxes filled with review products…
He’s discovered the catio as well as every window and window perch in our house…
…and all the best places to nap, whether with his new best buddies…
…or snoozing in a lap…
Perhaps most amazing is the speed at which Lucky has found his own special place in our hearts. We just love this little guy so much!
