Many of you emailed and messaged me about Lucky during his recent illness and bladder stone surgery so I wanted to give you an update. Lucky is doing great; he’s finishing up his medication and is super active now (although you wouldn’t know it from this photo of him cuddling with our dog Irie yesterday on the couch!)
I just finished rearranging my office, which is on the second floor of our house. My desk is now in front of a window which gives me — and our cats — a good view of the trees and the creek below. Lucky loves spending time in his perch and watching the birds in the trees (or napping):
Thank you all so much for your well wishes during his long surgery and recovery!! They meant the world to us!
Rescue Program
Along with my office redo, this week’s big project has been the launch of our #PawPromise Rescue Program! We are looking for shelters and rescues to participate as we feature an adoptable cat (and dog) every week. Along with sharing a great adoptable pet across all our social media channels, we’ll also be donating $2 from the sale of every #PawPromise Choose Rescue bracelet from our PawZaar store to that week’s rescue. If you’re involved with a rescue, please share the #PawPromise Rescue Program with your rescue representative!
Austin Pet Expo
This week I’ve also been busy ordering banners for our booth at the upcoming Austin Pet Expo, August 1-2. It’s still a ways off but I’m hoping to get everything ready a bit early so we can make our booth extra special. This will be our first public expo for our PawZaar products, and we can’t wait!
