Jackson Galaxy Adopts Pet Postcard Project Campaign

Jackson Galaxy offers pet parents food for thought on his series My Cat from Hell, and now the cat behaviorist is helping to feed orphaned felines as the June and July spokesperson for The Pet Postcard Project.

The Animal Planet personality has chosen The Cat House on the Kings and Blind Cat Rescue and Sanctuary to be the recipients of The Pet Postcard Project’s first ever Freekibble.com/Halo 15,000 Meal “Cat Months” Campaign.

For the next two months the two rescues hope to receive 1,000 handmade cards each to earn 5,000 meals for each shelter. Adding flavor to the cat campaign, the rescue which has received the most cards by the end of July will be awarded with an extra 5,000 meals. (Note: The Pet Postcard Project has extended the Jackson Galaxy postcard campaign to August 15, 2011.)

People who are passionate about our purring pals can participate simply by creating a cat-themed card featuring a photo of a feline and a few words about your cat companion, along with a note stating the shelter which should receive the card. (A card without a designated shelter listed will be split evenly by the two participating rescues.) Multiple postcards must be mailed in an envelope or box.
