Canine quarterbacks and tackling tail-waggers may be front and center when Puppy Bowl X airs on Animal Planet, but when football-playing Fidos take a break a clowder of cat lovers will huddle around their television sets to watch the Kitty Half-Time Show.
Here’s the scoop on the purr-formances:
Fans of felines will be tickled pink to see Keyboard Cat tickle the ivories during a rendition of the Bruno Mars hit “Locked Out of Heaven.”
A meowing menagerie will wow the crowd with a domino topple, and one hotdogging kitty will make a grand entrance by ‘parachuting’ onto the playing field.
Internet sensation Lil BUB, who will be cheering for all of the four-pawed players, will check in throughout the game from her Chicago home.
All of the 30 kittens appearing in the half-time show were chosen from Animal Care & Control NYC, while all of the Spots in the spotlight were selected from various rescue organizations and shelters throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
