Britain’s Got Talent’s Jonathan Antoine Adopts Rescue Kitten

Share with fellow cat lovers!

AntoineTeenage operatic tenor Jonathan Antoine– who garnered the runner-up position during season six of Britain’s Got Talent as one half of the duo Jonathan and Charlotte– has put a song in the hearts of his feline-loving fans by revealing that he’s welcomed a new furry friend into his family.

Already sharing a residence with Pandora and Polly– two cats who were adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home– on June 6th the classical crooner paid a visit to the renowned animal welfare organization, where he found 12-week-old Siamese mix, Willow.

By adopting from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Jonathan Antoine (who is currently recording his first solo album) has followed in the footsteps of other famous friends of felines who turned to the animal welfare charity when looking for cat companion, including platinum-selling recording artist with a heart of gold Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, who found her ‘mews’ in Missus, a four-year-old calico cat, and Prunella Scales of Fawlty Towers fame, who has a purring pal in a former Battersea cat named Hannah.

Founded in 1860, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home cares for approximately 400 canines and 250 cats daily at its three rehoming centers.
