CliftonWhile on location at an animal shelter to film scenes for the hit CBS daytime drama The Bold and The Beautiful, actor Scott Clifton cast a cat in the plum role of his real life purring pal.

Already multi-pet parents, the TV star (known to TV viewers for his portrayal of Liam Spencer on the popular soap) and his wife adopted Walter White from the South Los Angeles Animal Shelter, which will act as the backdrop for a three-episode, pet adoption-themed storyline airing from April 30th – May 2nd.

Walter White was one of three adorable adoptables who found forever homes with CBS cast and crew members during B&B‘s visit to the animal shelter. The Bold and The Beautiful‘s stage manager welcomed a canine called Molly into her heart and home, while Edward Scott, the show’s Supervising Producer, and his wife, actress Melody Thomas Scott (who soap fans know as Nikki Newman on The Young and The Restless) added a one-year-old Chinese Crested Terrier mix named Reilly to their fur family.

Over the course of the story arc fans will also enjoy an appearance by game show icon/animal advocate Bob Barker; Brandon McMillan, the star of the CBS Saturday morning rescue-themed series Lucky Dog; Los Angeles City Councilman Bernard Parks; shelter volunteers, and some of South Los Angeles Animal Shelter’s many dogs and cats who are also hoping to land starring roles in the lives of loving pet parents.
