Wedding Helps Cats in Need

Share with fellow cat lovers!

couple-2Lovebirds embarking on a new life together recently chose to celebrate their special day by helping cats who are looking to start a new chapter in their lives in a forever home.

Marrying their love for each other with their shared love of animals, the grounds of Cat House on the Kings– the largest no-cage, no-kill feline sanctuary and adoption center in the state of California– served as a ceremony site for the weeding of Canadian couple Louise Veronneua and Dominic Husson.

Helping the happy couple show their dogged devotion to paws causes, family and friends of the compassionate pair sent donations to the rescue organization in lieu of traditional gifts.

More than 1,000 bewhiskered well-wishers witnessed the I do’s. And just who said “I meow pronounce you husband and wife? None other than the rescue organization’s founder, Lynea Lattanzio.

A 12 acre haven for homeless felines which helps an estimated 500 cats (and some dogs) find forever families to love each year Cat House on the Kings in Parlier, California saves the lives of companion animals who are surrendered, facing their fate in shelters, or abandoned on the streets.
