Making great strides toward a better tomorrow for animals in need with every step he takes, Lucy Pet Products‘ spokesperson Ryan Beard (AKA Litter Box Bob) will educate as he participates in California’s Great Race of Agoura Hills 10K on April 1st!
Here’s the scoop: While most runners will don sneakers, sweet bands, headphones and other accessories customarily worn in a race, only one competitor will be carrying a cat litter box! By doing so, the English-American actor– who extols the virtues of Cats Incredible litter‘s unique formula which prevents ammonia from forming in the cat litter in his role as Litter Box Bob– will raise a few eyebrows while at the same time raising awareness of Lucy Pet Product’s efforts to help end the euthanasia of 80,000 cats and dogs who lose their lives in US shelters each week.
Portions of the proceeds from the sale of Cats Incredible and Lucy Pet Product’s other “Products with a Cause” fund the efforts of The Lucy Pet Foundation, a non-profit which is helping to save the lives of companion animals in need through its free spay/neuter programs.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve run in a race,” Beard stated. “And I don’t think that anyone has ever done it carrying a litter box, but this is an important issue and one that everybody should be aware of and I will do just about anything to help with the cause.”
