Her own fur babies Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey have grown accustomed to lapping up the limelight over the years as familiar faces on the music icon’s social media channels.

As an homage to Swift’s four-legged squad, the November 9, 2017 unveiling of the singer’s faux form included a clowder of six cats who got the chance to enjoy 15 minutes of fame as they wait for the day when they take center stage in the life of a forever pet parent.

The meowing menagerie at the mewseum are all in the care of Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue, an all-volunteer non-profit which has been saving the lives of San Francisco’s cats in need since 2003 by rescuing cats from the shelter system, many of whom have been deemed less adoptable due to their age.

The photo shoot was not the first time that cats have appeared at Madame Tussauds San Francisco.

In 2015, the branch of the famous wax museum franchise immortalized the world’s most curmudgeonly kitty, Grumpy Cat, who holds the distinction of being the first feline ever to be honored with a figure at Madame Tussauds.
