This past weekend we had a super fun time at POP Cats, the annual cat, pop and art convention. Previously held in Miami, this year’s event was in Austin, our hometown. Our PawZaar gift store had a booth at the show and had the opportunity to meet so many fellow cat lovers during the two-day event.
The event was held at Palmer Event Center…
…a facility with a great view of the ever-expanding Austin skyline…
But the fun this weekend was definitely INSIDE the event center as thousands of cat lovers gathered to enjoy special presentations, 90 cat-centric vendors, and adoptable from many local rescues and shelters.
The event was cat-friendly, and we saw quite a few attendees with their four-legged best friends…
Saturday brought a big crowd to watch (then later meet) iAmMoshow The Cat Rapper…
…while Sunday brought Turbo Two Legs. We were tied up at our booth during Turbo Two Legs’ appearance but we had the opportunity that afternoon to visit a few fellow vendors like our friends at Triple T Studios…
…and meet some super cute adoptable like Chicken and Pony, both in the care of the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter…
…just one of the many shelters and rescues with interactive areas…
…and adoptable waiting for a forever home…
