The Algonquin Cat to Help Raise Funds for NY Save

Share with fellow cat lovers!

Matilda, The Algonquin Hotel’s resident Directfurr of Guest Relations, may have enjoyed her recent five-month sabatical in Queens while her highbrow home underwent renovations, but now the reigning ‘Algonqueen’ is back and showing off her refurbished pad by throwing a purr-ty with a purpose.

The former rescue Ragdoll invites fans of felines for an afternoon of fashion and philanthropy complete with meow-dels dressed in kitty couture and adorable adoptables from Bideawee.

Hosted by pet lifestyle expert and author Sandy Robins, the event will raise funds for NY Save, an organization which helps the pets of New York City citizens in need of veterinary care.

Admission: Minimum $25 entrance donation. RSVP required.

When: August 8, 2012 ( Bideawee adoptions from from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.; reception from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.)

Where: The Algonquin Hotel at 59 West 44th in New York City
