Review: Imperial Cat Football Scratch ‘n Shapes

Lucky is a lot like his Dad. They both love the cooler weather that September is bringing; just as John enjoys being outdoors in this fall weather, I see Lucky in his catio more and more each day, especially during the crisp mornings.

When the weather turns cooler, he’ll be ready to help John build fires in our wood stove…

And, like John, Lucky likes his football!

Recently we had the chance to try Imperial Cat’s two-in-one Football Scratch ‘n Shapes. We’ve tried other scratchers from Imperial Cat that the cats have loved but this one is a unique shape, nesting two “footballs” in one. Like all the Imperial Cat scratchers, it includes a bag of Certified Organic Catnip. It’s made in the USA from 100% post-consumer recycled paper (plus, when it’s time to retire this “football,” it’s 100% recyclable).

Lucky quickly laid claim to this football but, as in any good game, possession moved between the teams…

…and for part of the game, the scratcher was in the possession of Inca…

Just as it appeared that the game was over, though, in came the senior team player: Linus, scoring a sudden interception (tumbling Lucky along the way)…

Linus, Lucky and Inca all give the Imperial Cat Football Scratch ‘n Shapes a big paws up!

Linus, Lucky, and Inca received an Imperial Cat scratcher for their review but their opinions are entirely their own.
