Looking for a Cleveland, Ohio cat cafe? The start of 2019 meant the start of a new day for many adoptable kitties in need thanks to Cleveland’s first cat cafe: affoGATO Cat Cafe!
The 411 for Foodies
Named after an Italian dessert created with ice cream and hot espresso, affoGATO’s menu naturally features the nommable treat, as well as the Catpawccino, the Americlawno, the Tuxedo Cat (a chocolate mocha with express, milk and whipped cream, and the Meowcchiato (which come in a bevy of “breeds,” such as the Turkish Van-illa and the Caramel Calico).
Other drinks have also been given monikers that celebrate our pals who meow, like the Snow Leopard (an iced coffee), the Black Cat, the Kit-Tea, the British Shorthair and the Cafe Au Lay-on-your-Keyboard! Customers can also sink their teeth into a variety of baked goods which, as with the refreshments, are served in a restaurant area separate from the cat lounge.

The Cats of affoGATO
All of the cats (except for resident purring machine, Prince) who lap up the milk of human kindness at the cafe are adorable adoptables from Cleveland Animal Protective League, a non-profit organization which has helped homeless companion animals since its start in 1913.
