KITTEN BOWl

Get ready to huddle around your TV set and cheer on the option of pet adoption during an annual presentation that’s a real game changer for felines in need: Kitten Bowl VII, airing Sunday, Feb. 2 on the Hallmark Channel!

While only time will tell which team will be victorious at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, there’s no doubt that every cuddly calico quarterback, Siamese safety and tabby-striped tight end who pounces on the ball inside the Hallmark Channel Stadium will win the hearts of television viewers.

Here’s the scoop on Kitten Bowl VII:

Who is Hosting Kitten Bowl VII?

Beth Stern Kitten Bowl

Always a cheerleader for the option of pet adoption, North Shore Animal League America spokesperson and famous feline foster Beth Stern has once again stepped into the role of host of the event.

Covering the cat-letes’ during the big game will be Hallmark Channel commentators Jill Wagner and Brennan Elliott for all the play-by-play action.

Gridiron greats Rashad Jennings and Boomer Esiason provide commentary from the moment the furry fullbacks and meowing middle linebackers step a paw on to the pint-sized playing field.

Who Are This Year’s Draft Picks?

Just who are the purring players who will charge the stadium in Kitten Bowl VII? Their names range from Baby Bear (which was also the shelter name of our dog Barli!) to Jacques Le Mew.

Each four-pawed draft pick was a former shelter cat; you can even see their player profiles online!
